Hi guys.Recently GrandTheftAero Make A Nfs undercover Prototype video.So here is The video that he show the gameplay: These are the early gameplay.The date is september 2008,but the final verison are 2009. Let say about the changes: Graphics Are more beautiful. Different hud,and the hud are blue. different police dispatch and the different police detector sound. Damage where different. In the part 2 video,player have to drive the 350z and this is a cut car in nfs undercover. Different NIS and cutscence. Use the prostreet and shift wheel intro. Locked area,they use to be acess in races and look finish. Different map music and the click sound where different. In outrun,the meter bar where different and show the different color when the player pass the rival or the rival pass the player. Music still play when player jump or use speedbraker. Differnet background color in menu.(they're brown instead of blue). A ranking bar where in the game but they arent seen in the final version and carmen sound will play when the player level up.(GrandTheftAero said that).And Maybe this is the rep where the player earn to race with the gang. different story mode first car,in the final version you will use the nissan 240sx instead of the audi rs4. and aslo different start title in the pursuit.In fnal they said "Escape the Cop!" Instead Of "Get to The City". The cutscence where the pursuit breaker use to stop cop is different: -It will still in game not play the cutscence and they only make action. -instead of a cop car push under the pursuit breaker it will use the traffic car. -Aslo the cop car will crash to the traffic car that never seen in the final version. And the cutscence in the story are the early cutscence. I will find more information about this. Have A good day. So I got the beta and tried on on Xenia (360 emulator. Very early in development. Can only play a handful of games somewhat properly). And this is what I got after making a shortcut and adding "--gpu=gl4" (without the quotation marks) to the end of it. At first the black/grey lines were just a black screen and I had no sound. Now I have sound but as you can see, the game is basically unplayable. Runs at around 10FPS and if you drive too quick, the game crashes. Basically, unless you have a Jtagged 360 or a devkit 360, you can't properly play this. And for those who care, the MW2005 beta won't even open on the emulator. If I could get my hands on a PS2 beta, I could post screenshots. Not gameplay because ST1 has already done so, but just whatever ppl want me to check out, I can post a screenie of it. I also have a modded PS2 that I've only kept around for this same reason. Just in case I ever get a PS2 NFS beta :V Also, does anyone have an NTSC copy of the Carbon PS2 demo? I only have a PAL version and it's black and white on my TV, and part of the screen is cut off. I tried a PAL-NTSC converter but that only converted the menu of the demo disc. Games were the same. I tried extracting and running just the demo, but it wouldn't even run.

'Muricans are really unlucky with the PAL stuff eh? What kind of TV do you even have that it is still in black and white? (unless it's a CRT, then I understand kinda) Best solution would be to use RGB or Component. Anyhow, currently there are no known US demo releases for PS2 of Carbon. So, you'll indeed have to resort to patches, however, I strongly advise against using NTSC-PAL patchers as they're unnecessary. Since you do have a modded PS2, you can make yourself a CD that will open uLaunchElf so you can install FreeMcBoot on your memory card. Then, just install GS Mode Selector and you're good to go! Optionally you could just make a GSM disc, but optical disc lasers stink ass in all sorts of ways. (even if you do have a slim I'd go against using the disc drive) So if either ST1 or Damien ever decide to release the beta (which they should), I'd suggest playing it off of a SMB network share over Open PS2 Loader as it provides optimal performance and all the files are on your computer. (also Xenia's AVX requirements are kind of unrealistic IMO)

And all I (think) I need is an .iso that has just the Carbon PS2 demo (which I already found. Have yet to try it).

In NFSUC Proto, As far as I've seen, it has these two car models files that isn't in the final game: AST_DBS_V12_08 POR_911_GT3RS_08 (No pics because I don't have Xbox360, neither an emulator)
And then there are these strings which aren't in the final game: CE_PORSCHE_CGT CE_SUPRA diecast_challengerconcept diecast_nissan diecast_porsche911turbo
I actually don't know what are those. Presets? Maybe.

diecast references the toy cars that were made. if you bought one it came with a cheat code on the back to unlock that car preset from the toy in the game. there are 12 in total

The color palette of the game is absolutely horrible and the yellow filter is the only thing in the game that makes it slightly better. Compare the color palette of downtown in PS2/wii version and PS3/PC version.
