Wouldn't it be more practical to unpack zzdata bins? At least the benefits of unpacking would be worth it, for both MW and Carbon demos. I still doubt that it can be so hard for someone like you to unpack those. they are unpacked. although the ps2 demo can only load packed zz datas (i managed to get gameplay.bin loaded externally once but you can only load one file externally by replacing the savegame save/load section with a load file section) the problem is there is no repacker.... but oh well we can extract the attributes.bin and see all of the model hashes in an older vlt edit and then just use cheat engine + savestates. (i extracted the nis files from the demo... looked through EVERY extracted .dat ONE BY ONE :V)

You sure that Kenji had a custom license plate? It seems more like a part of vinyl in the empty space for license plate (i. e. there are no license plate on that bodykit) to me.

You sure that Kenji had a custom license plate? It seems more like a part of vinyl in the empty space for license plate (i. e. there are no license plate on that bodykit) to me. the license plate is not part of the bodykit. you can remove it with the debug car customize in other games. its a completely separate object. kenjis car however does have a really low quality version of that text in the final game behind the license plate.(although to me it looks like a differnt green with different material properties where the license plate should be(on the same model)... thats impossible in eagl and still impossible in many engines today you might be able to see it here

Even though fng strings are there they dont actually exist in globalb / frontb1 / ect
The main menu exists but has quick race and options only (and it does not work.. crashes)
The preset cars are the same as the ones in the pc demo (although with less)

So, does anybody remember this? I checked the files and found two presets cars which were cut from the final game. Preset: Toyota Supra "Hero" This preset would be perfect for who likes to recreate cars as they were supposed to be. However, this preset doesn't have the color set. So I fixed it: The vinyl was there all the time, I just had to move the vinyl hash to the correct address. About the color, I took it from the preset "TUNER_2". And one that I never expected to find in game. Preset: Mazda RX-7 "LE_SAMURAI"! Why a RX-7? Why it was there? Was it supposed to be used in the story mode? Eachcar that appeared in story mode during the NIS cutscene have its own entry in "pvehicle", however, the LE_SAMURAI RX7 doesn't have one. What if the Le Samurai is not a crew (since SpeedY never found any crew code for them)? Was it supposed to be some kind of Collector Edition car or just another Custom Car? Might planned to be used in some Challenge Serie event? This really goes into a pit. Le Samurai is an early version of Black Hearts but still unknown why it was modified/cut from the game. Supra color is much more darker. It has midnight blue supra and grayish stripes.

the vinyl bugs out on the spoiler (UV MAP ISSUE) Its really blurry (low res) in comparison to others.it looks lower than the low res textures from the hidden demo vinyl presets

it was not used, they wanted to add but then it would be needed to make 1st carbon map maybe they thought that having too many crews will be too boring and larger maps means more space on ur hdd/ssd there are many crews(and unknown crews) and would take days to beat every of them(most cool is darius). textures were still in the game and there is no reminder, they wanted to implement into the game but rubbish
