When looking at this picture I remembered the line from that polish "Back to Rockport" fic which stated that the number 6 on Nikki's car stands for six years Nikki was in love with the hero. And I've realized the true meaning of that number. It's a reference.  The car, the livery's shape (which obviously stands out from every other Stacked Deck's cars)... don't they ring a bell?  John Wyer, anyone? The front of Nikki's car is also a reminiscent of long nose GT40s:  |

I matched both "whole" and "partial" maps by road layout, which was identical in both cases (and yes, it's placed exactly like that on the "zoomed" map). Not only there is a missing coast (which we can't see in the game anyway because it's off the screen), the most of layout is slightly different and off, while the upper part of the eastern coast on the "zoomed" map matches perfectly. Carbon itsself has the heritage vinyl with no numbers under the stock category for the Ford GT. Less than 400 heritage GT's were made anyway, rarely talked about aswell, so I don't blame you. BTW, can you please try make the smaller map (with a compass) a little smaller so it fits better? It seems bigger than the area without the map. Also try remove the black barriers and place it on the zoomed out version. |

If that's for not knowing the existence of some special edition of Ford GT, I can call you living under a rock for not knowing the existence of, let's say, Yamaha OX99-11. Carbon itsself has the heritage vinyl with no numbers under the stock category for the Ford GT. If that's the body vinyl I'm thinking of, it's common for every car. Gulf to the masses! Nikki's car, on the other hand, uses more personalized vinyl and particularly on Ford GT. BTW, can you please try make the smaller map (with a compass) a little smaller so it fits better? Keep away may be related to the second part of a cayon race or when you're getting too close to a wall in drift events? |

The same name "LAPIERRE" is in the characters list from this thread: needforspeedtheories.boards.net/thread/358/nfsc-character-names-unused-crewI'm guessing this crew member is from the old crew system shown in your "Beta Menus #1" video: 1:33 (where ai crews could attack each other and take members) Or it could also be just a test crew member, looked through the credits and the Executive Producer's name is Larry LaPierre |
