Shoot, so the custom headlight thing from UG2 was actually considered at some point. Can't say I miss that tho, it just didn't quite fit Carbon. Ride Pitch was probably replaced by Ride Height in the final.

so the vinyls were created for this :p That 'logo' is basically the same beta logo of Black Hearts crew from what I see. "BOSS_PHANTOMS" I guess Black Hearts' previous name was "Phantoms"?

Main menu AND the debug customize menu for PS2 Demo? Holy shit, what day to be alive. So, turns out the pic below is true? Seems to be... Ah, this is the ROOF_SUN: ---------------- Also, something about challenges: We know that a series of events with the numbers 6_5_X were cut, and according to PS2 Demo they would have been either Lap K.O (actually, a circuit with Lap K.O enabled) or Pursuit K.O. So, I noticed the events: race_bin_quickrace/8_5_1, race_bin_quickrace/8_5_2 and race_bin_quickrace/8_5_3, their finish line always had the sufix 6_5_X and their nodes have exclusive challenge series fields like ChallengeSeriesRace and PlayerCarType. So in the past... maybe... race_bin_quickrace/8_5_1 = race_bin_challenge/6_5_1 race_bin_quickrace/8_5_2 = race_bin_challenge/6_5_2 race_bin_quickrace/8_5_3 = race_bin_challenge/6_5_3 Also, do you remember the 3 cut challenge series cars in preview buid? So.. 3 cut cs cars, 3 cut cs events... maybe they are somehow related?

You know the saddest part of all this, is that after 10 years of this Game's release, 50% of the carbon community still thinks that there are other cities in carbon.

Not sure if it's the same demo from Official UK XBOX Magazine #61, but at least it seems to be early than PS2 Demo. No music, no exhaust, evo stats are normal and not made up.

It's early, but the shadows do tend to glitch out when autosculpting a part. The EVO IX has a different logo and not to mention it looks god awfully slow.

It also seems that unlike the later PS2 demo, the Mitsubishi Evo IX appears more out of place with the area around it. Though the Evolution's stats don't appear normal at all with top speed being even lower than that of a tier 1.

Not sure if it's the same demo from Official UK XBOX Magazine #61, but at least it seems to be early than PS2 Demo. No music, no exhaust, evo stats are normal and not made up. It's definitely earlier. Sound Effects : The sound effect when moving sliders is completely gone (PS2 demo has it). It's also missing the "Decline" sound effect (It's just the same "Accept" sound effect when you go back), "Apply" sound effect (This one also uses the "Accept" sound effect) along with the little sound that plays once a new menu is loaded (Don't really know how to explain it, but its after the accept sound after either going back, or clicking a customization option). Graphics : Seems that the lighting is extremely rough. The Xbox demo also has a wider FoV when customizing a car than the PS2 demo, as well as the PS2 demo having the HUD closer to the edges of the screen than the Xbox counterpart. At 0:17, the Xbox demo has more detail on the lights hanging from the ceiling (Near top right of the screen on both). The Autosculpt outline/highlight is completely missing from the Xbox demo. Texture for the underside of the Lancer's spoiler is missing in the Xbox demo. Headlight textures for the Xbox demo Lancer are much lower detail than the PS2 demo's. Cars :
Lancer's headlights in the Xbox demo have a yellowish tint at some angles (0:24, the one to the right). The Lancer has different-looking taillights in the Xbox demo (Compared to the PS2 demo). Mirrors are different between demos. Xbox demo has a little turn signal light on the side of the car, while the PS2 demo is missing that. HUD : Camera controls, unlike in the Final and PS2 demo are slightly visible towards the bottom of the screen in the Xbox demo. Miscellaneous :
The ceiling fans in the garage also spin faster in the Xbox demo than in the PS2 demo. Irrelevant, but whatever. Xbox demo has the tires of the car turned to the right, not to the left, like every BB NFS has had. No idea why it's different there. In the Xbox demo, vinyls distort when you autosculpt the part it's on (0:19). This doesn't happen in either the final or the PS2 demo, which to me suggests that the vinyl texture was just the car's texture for the Lancer in the Xbox demo. At 2:17 we can see the texture we see in our garage in the final wa also in the Xbox demo. It's really bright in the PS2 demo so I can't really tell what it is, but the texture might be something else entirely on that version of the PS2 demo.

That's not the OXM 61 Demo. I have it and it's the same as the PS2 demo.
