Some of these were used as loading screens on the DS and PSP versions

Few of these legitimately reminded me of GTA San Andreas.

They look so much better than the actual game (well usually concept arts do this and it's normal, but this time, they can't even be compared). UC's city looks like shit compared to these beauties. Beside the gameplay, the ugliness of the city is another major factor for why I can't stand UC.
And some of them also seem to have a Burnout feeling.

I kinda like Tri City Bay.The highway concept is quite nice. (they planned it for Carbon before) Areas like docks, stadium, parking lots, construction buildings are fun to drive around and you can get some huge air with certain ramps.

I liked the highways too. but I still would've loved to see Carbon taking place in a desert ;_;

These are so dope o.O The 2nd one gives off a San Francisco vibe to it, and the 8th looks alot like a smaller town in SoCal. Not to mention the 7th kinda reminds me of Lincoln City,OR. Maybe they were planning Tri-City Bay to be set on the West coast? Not saying that they actually did, but based off of this concept art it really looks like that might've been an idea EA had in the beginning.

So, the cars in the concept art are just Porsche and Evo 10? Yes, apparently. (GT2 997, 911 Turbo and Evo X) I don't know about Evo X but i do know why Porsche is featured in those concept arts (and in many other screenshots and trailers) Source

Holy macaroni ontop of the cows! Look at these early renders.I think they used MW2005/Carbon engine in the trailer , looks really nice though.
And looks like they use BP traffic for the trailer.

In that video titled "002", I swear I saw a MODERN Burnout Paradise traffic sedan, which is not in NFSUC at all. My guess is in the early development , the developer took all BP traffic to UC. But hey , that's just a theory , a Game Theory , thanks for watching!©

I also like the fact that few of these pictures are photoshopped rather than drawn.
