I have created a map that shows the locations of all Drag streets: As you can see the Streets don't really fit into the City. But I think at least one of the Streets can be seen in the Circuit/Sprint races: This Highway is exactly there where Highway 1 should be. Did you guys find other Parts of Drag streets in the "main game" City?

I noticed that road before, it's more than likely drivable but I don't think it's the same as HWY 1. It's much too narrow. The problem with this is that the drag tracks have completely different surroundings than the circuits and sprints, yet they share the same map. I'm not saying that the drags don't take place in OC, but they're in sections of the city that we can't get to. Same with the drift tracks. OC is a massive city ( I believe parts of it are based off of Houston, the 4th largest city in the US, and Chicago, the 3rd largest ) so it's likely if it were completed and the devs actually wanted to implement freeroam like in Underground 2, it would be bigger than Bayview and Palmont combined.

Just because its based off of a big city, it doesn't have to be a big city. URL races, drift tracks, canyon races, street X races and drag races all use tracks that aren't accessable in free roam. Maybe these tracks are made later in the development of the game, the point when the roamable map is already planned and sketched out and don't have room for these tracks. Their only option is to make these tracks separate from the roamable map.

With the drag tracks it makes some sense, but the airport tracks, runways, drift parkades and street x ones, not really, as there isn't anything to do there, so they're inaccessible for a good reason, I'd say.

I'll just leave this here: If drag race locations aren't here, they're obviously placed somewhere else.

Could actually be that, since they also have very different environments?
Maybe they put the tracks over the map of the city to avoid putting a blank/crappy background underneath, but they're not actually located there :-?
This way, they avoided making an entire new map (or something similar) just for them.

Could be below it, above it, or just extremely far away from it. If only there is a jet pack to navigate blue hell...

In NFSU, most drag tracks have no place in the in-game map, and it's hard to accurately place them, since they DO have some relevance to the city.

The devs probably just placed them in a place they thought was most fitting without changing anything.

They're probably somewhere far, with some scenery around them.

They're probably somewhere far, with some scenery around them. Like every other inaccessible areas in every other free roam game. There is this one free roam game I know about that has a jetpack for people to navigate around though...
