The review of beta carbon by Gameinformers All thanks to Paul Osorto for getting it and uploading images imgur.com/a/KumYfWhat can be seen from that review: 1. Canyon races were exponentially harder: a. No touching the bumper of the car in front in duels b. Some tracks didn't even have guard rails c. Traffic d. You might have had to requalify if you lost a canyon duel 2. San Juan was a full district 3. The crew system was more elaborate a. Crew types were blocker, drafter, fabricator, mechanic, fixer, pathfinder b. There might have been a damage system given the presence of the mechanic crew c. Crew members could upgrade their abilities d. You could combine crew members for extra abilities(eg: 2 fabricators -> extra Autoscuplt options) e. Usage of crew member abilities in a race was supposed to be limited to once or twice 4. Territory system was more elaborate a. Some territory were more valuable than others(eg: those that have shops) b. You recruited crew members by taking over the territory in which they hang out Trivia: Fixer is present in the mobile version of Carbon

Some of the mentioned crew types (mechanic, fixer and frabricator) became a bonus skill of the crew member types (drafter, blocker and scout) in the final, they also had a bonus to the player like stronger nitrous, cheaper parts, auto sculpt unlocked and such. Crew members were still recruited by overtaking the districts, except for Neville, Sal and Nikki. Pathfinder isn't that the Scouts??? I can't tell what the skills allowed or benefit the player with, but you can figure it out by check in out your crew members from the crew option. San Juan just looks as it does in the final, so what do you mean with full district? PS: Anyone remembers the talk about the city seen on a PS2 demo cover? If you go through the images you may notice it was just the brigh city texture seen in San Juan, there's actually one pic that shows (nearly) the exact view as on the back cover of the PS2 demo disc... i.imgur.com/MBCwY37.jpg

Can anyone find the same road that Cooper and Laser are talking about in San Juan? It's probably there, but we don't really know at this point. If we look all around and there's nothing there that looks like it, then we have a new Carbon theory on our hands, but I don't really want that to happen since we're so focused on Underground.

That road is definitely there...I think it's somewhere on the west side of San Juan...

In your image? Yeah either some real life city cause it does have similarities to a river in New York, I mentioned that in the old forum but forgot what I said...however it also could be artwork or photoshopped.
The demo cover looks like it is taken from a screenshot with the Palmont scenery seen from San Juan...I remember that one photo with the three cars standing there with the scenery behind it, can't find it anymore...

Lol that vinyl is Kenji's. That's his evo. XD The lightning just made it look blueish but near the bottom of the car you can see the red paint.

Just random car...blue car...maybe chrome maybe gloss maybe metallic who knows it's blue or alike...crews must have their colors (and such) pretty early because of the cut scenes for example.
Just like the standard cover, just a cover...and devs can apply anything to anything and it doesn't have to mean a thing...
