Maybe Nissan refuses hiscars on MW because fights with cops is required for career completion? In Carbon cops plays a way less role...

In Carbon cops plays a way less role... i'll just say something to this for the MW and Carbon, this is true. you dont need to earn bounty in carbon to progress the game,in mw you need bounty. for the Nissan and refusing cars for MW 1. i think MW didnt have that much money for Nissan and other manchufaters.(since MW has shitton of cutscenes and carbon doesnt have as that much as MW.) 2. licensing problems as always 3. other problems?(cops, not having customisation...)

rolling rollblock does exist in hp2 btw. its just one of several tactics the cops use. they also do pretty basic pit maneuvers and stuff. i just think that the hp2 game has them named differently or whatever (because the ai is pretty much the same as hp2 because of the easy ai toggle and the path editor) its just hp2 leftovers

3. other problems?(cops, not having customisation...) Remember police cars from demo ps2 on nfsmw they were like Ford crown victoria. And EA didn't have a money to pay their models or refused to use.

Lmao, EA had enough money obviously. They just dind't want to make it too obvious that it was based on the Crown Victoria.

Hello. This is my second thread in the forum! This is about the things related to cops and pursuits found in UG2 I think some of you guys know that the polices were actually planned to be added to NFSUG2. Well, i found these things while hex-editng: There are some AIGoal things that is related to cops and pursuits. They can't be used by the AIs such as traffics and opponents because there are no used AIGoal in the game - all of them are unused. (i have done many AIAction and AIGoal hex edits on MW and Carbon and most of them work. But for UG2 i can't make the AIGoal work because i need an used already AIGoal to be replaced.) AIGoals i found: AIGoalRollingRoadblock AIGoalOffsetPursuit AIGoalChaseCar They even have a description! "Getaway from car %d" "Rolling roadblock of car %d" "Offset pursuit of car %d" (i don't know what is %d) There is also a HUD feature for pursuits that is cut! I tried to replace used already HUD features strings with this one but still doesn't work. I think it's because there are no textures for them Cop mode? i don't know if it works, we just need someone to enable the cop mode. "Why don't you enable it yourself?" Idk how to enable things like that Cop camera mover. I don't know if it works. I will do my best to make the hidden things work, and add the results here if they worked. If you want to try make them work in the game then do it! (is my english bad?) The %d is as I believe name used for your car.If your car that you drive is Honda, the value of %d is Honda.Idk,maybe it is. Back to thread,I think police was in early development, but devs decided to delete it due to fact that police wasn't in ug1 and didn't really fit into world universe. It would be an terrible mistake if "legal" races (sponsored by existing irl firms)were forbidden by police.

%d is a number string, so it can't be a name (a name would be %s).

It's actually the other way around. well probably yeah they might just hired some cheap af actors and made the near best nfs game lol They're not shittin around man, in NFSMW they hire celebrities just to pose a few pictures for Blacklist. Some such as Ronnie actually acted. Because back then the voice cast (or in this case actors) of your games actually matter and games like Scarface the world is yours, GTA and True Crime spent a huge chunk of their budget on voice cast.

Since when was Voice Cast ever cheap ? It is cheap when programmers themselves speak. -_- That ain't possible. Voice cast does matter.
