So, here is a fast tutorial to play the hidden races in NFS Carbon and NFS Most Wanted.
To NFS Carbon, some of the hidden races are available only in specifics gameplay files and in case you don't have them, you can download here:
NFS Carbon - V1.0/V1.1 GLOBAL files? The files you need for that are
gameplay.bin and
gameplay.lzc, so you can extract them and edit the gameplay.lzc with nfsu360's VltEd. However, It is always good edit both .bin and .lzc gameplay files, somehow these files are dependent of each other.
The VltEd you will need is the v1.1, which can be download here:
NFS-VltEd v1.1 ReleasedYou need the v1.1 because the latest build of VltEd (v2.1) can't edit the .lzc file, don't ask me why.
With the VltEd download and extracted, you will open it and go to:
gameplay>baseelement>element>trackThere will be every race from the career mode (it acts more like a "link" between the entries, for the race track to their settings like position, amount of cash, etc) and from there you can choose one to replace, for example:
area_tuner/zone_hotels/track_99_99That is the Race War of Downtown. In
RaceActivity you will change the current race to the one that you want to play, for example
race_bin_casino/5_war, which in the case is the unreleased race war from Silverton.
After that, just save and you will be able to play the desired race.
To NFS Most Wanted you have two options: use the
trainer made by Bojan or edit the gameplay.lzc.
If you want to edit the gameplay.lzc, it is basically the same thing from NFS Carbon, except that this time you will edit the races of each Blacklist:
gameplay>baselement>activity>progression>race_binAfter that just choose the desired Blacklist racer and change the race in
WorldRaces.
Ah, to know which races are included in a gameplay just check the
basicrace:
gameplay>baselement>activity>race>engaged>basicrace
