Warning. Bad English, Long to read. dont read if you lazy enough to read it.So i see a thread about the unused bridge. and i'm intrested to see whats the upside of the bridge. So, i had to use the debug camera to see it. I have some pictures i get after doing some research. Warning. i use an RX-7 with the spoiler which is from a mod. dont ask me again.Pic 1. The bridge has no any road textures. Intresting. Pic 2. Yes, it has a road textures. but it look like a gravel. Well if you think its a highway to Palmont city, or one of the Highway line, well maybe its not. Cause its already blocked by the terrain and some trees. (notice that this bridge is near to a building which i can say another landmass). More pics. Maybe the pic can show the reason why these unused highway aren't made to make it driveable. The two bridges in this pic has the same textures They are the bridges from this area. More pics. Well near the stadium theres a bridge and it look like a connector to the old stadium? also found a door and look like a garage door. does it loo like a safehouse wannabe? Intresting pic. Again. It has no road textures since it makes a turn. hmm i dont know why. well yes a last pic before the end of this long thread. Well yes maybe its a pedestrian bridge. after i take a look with debug camera, yes it has stairs textures but has no floor textures in the middle and that bridge is leading to a landmass (once again). Yes i dont know why. So, some of unused bridge has road textures. and some of them not. (ill add more pics on my research again) What do you think about my founds? thanks to read it.

Most of the bridges look too unfinished to be planned to be drive-able. It lacks road line marking and the normal mapping(if it has that) it different to ones used by roads. I think it lacks normal mapping since it's a texture that isn't meant to be seen. I doubt the stadium bridge is planned to be drive-able and just the fact that there's a garage door doesn't mean it's a safehouse. It would rather be a leading to a parkway or the court. I do think the parking lot next to the stadium could be planned to be roam-able.

Although they will never be drivable, it is still amusing to wonder where the hell these highways would connect to if they were.

If they would rework on the terrain or moving the trees that blocks them and make road marking, it would be driveable. but we need a place that could be the exits Also yes, if they do that, they double sizing the game size

First of, those bridges are just scenery to envelope the environment with realism. They mostly don't have textures because there's no reason they should have.. players usually will never see them from above or certain height and they were never meant to be driveable. The purpose is to make you imagine that technically due to real world conditions there's a way out to other places
The Bridge that connects the baseball and football stadium is a gangway for e.g. pedestrians/visitors to walk between the two stadium areas.
Because they obviously can't cross the highway lanes safely.
You see similiar bridges/gangways in Las Vegas that connect the other side of the streets but also the hotels and casinos with each other directly. So guests/tourists and pedestrians can quickly walk around.
The long bridge that goes nowhere might have its origin from the old bridge. When you drive to the absolute end of the old bridge street it turns to Rosewood und matches the bridge near the stadium that also matches the bridge into the mountains near the gas station ;-)

What did you think? ;-) In Rosewood the accessable stadium is the Hickley Field Baseball Stadium and the other one that can't be accessed is the [american] football stadium.

So there are three stadiums in Rockport? Correct! :-) A baseball and football stadium in Rosewood which I guess is from the college (team name is Wombats) And a football stadium in Downtown. (team Name is Tigers) I thought it was obvious.. wasn't it?

The names are advertised around the stadium areas and on the end zone of the football field
