Hello mates, some months ago felipe posted a thread about the Olympic City map,and he marked the unknown roads too.. Well, after reading this,I had an idea to explore thoose areas, and find the truth:Why are they closed??? As you know I can bypass the reset zones with one of my trainers,so it's not a problem for me. So,just a little revise how does the Olympic City map looks like(image by 379Felipe,thanks to him): I just went to one of the possible unknown areas(the bottom, left one),and found out thatt,it's fake...(Nice try Black Box....) Because it looks like this: There's nothing else to say...

The white neighborhoods are just a copy of the neighborhood above chinatown colored in aqua, I once highlighted the exact roads, they don't exist in the game, its just to fill the map, I did a clean out on PC and deleted bunch of stuff, the map was part of it. Add: The listed districts are wrong, the city only consists of Alantica, Chinatown, Downtown, Port Royal and Airport/Terminal...Market District doesn't exist, Market Street is the street name which goes thru Chinatown and National Rail is probably the name of the train/travel company or just a name for the train area, its not a district however. I quickly re-did that, red-yellow road are drivebale in the game, yellow is fake...this environment is used for the east and west of the map.

I have a feeling after awhile we'll have to completely re-draw the entire map. Even though we knew the white roads weren't real, that's still a good find.

The Market Street is in the chinatown, where thoose short streets are,Market Street (as a REAL street) also exists in the game. Here is a pic:

That's what I said, Market Street is a Street in Chinatown, Chinatown is the district.
Some people assume that there's a Market District because of Market Street, but Market District is not real, its Chinatown.
It's the same with National Rail, people mistake it to be a district, National Rail is a reference to the train stations which are located in Port Royal.
The good thing about the Underground map is it tells you about the districts, a dragon for chinatown, a traffic light for downtown a ship for the port.

So, do you mean a map with the district based on the icons show in the map?

Isn't there like a mailbox icon for Terminal also? Or does it have the traffic light instead? Anyways, I really don't know what you'd call the majority of the teal district. It's not Chinatown, and it's not necessarily Downtown either, so what is it? It's not a suburb of OC, it's pretty directly connected to the old downtown and the newer sections, but it's in the middle of Downtown and the industrial sides of the city, and it's got tons of buildings along the side of the little freeway, and above the tunnel.

Ridgericer 379FelipeThe map (above) shows icons on the map that determine the district type and how large it is.The same icons are used for the track selection to identify its type, the same system is used in Underground 2 but only for the track selection The traffic lights are located at Altantica, Downtown and the Terminal area. The dragons border the area of chinatown. And the ships determine the port and industrial area. I don't know what you're talkin about, but this might help, the Stadium and Market District track are in Chinatown and National Rail is in Port Royal, which covers the whole industrial area. Note: The Terminal is located in east downtown with a very small territory only, the park, construction roads and anything aside the airport is part of downtown itself.

Yeah, pretty much like that, except the #unknown areas are just a copy of the areas I highlighted in yellow on the map somewhere above...

Something like this? it's pretty late reply to yer map mate, but I like how you made it from race selection bits for higher quality, it looks kinda like map from Rivals, like digital imperfections(only good thing 'bout thatgame). It looks awesome like that, can you repost clean(without districts marked) version here?

Alright, with my instagram only skills did this with GIMP, it's not perfect but I hooked the circuit track splines from the game onto the map, had to resize them as good as I could, it's not perfect and especially when I seperated the districts I messed up Port Ryoal, it was the first and I thought to go outta bounds to fill the not highlighted roads, I just noticed when I did the downtown districts that I just could have highlighted only the inactive areas (Altantica bay) instead of going crossover the whole and even paint empty areas (south-east port royal), but couldn't remove it unless I remove everything...stupid programs, you allow so much but something like a history where you can remove single edits isn't possible...really? I have saved an .xcf file of each, so everyone can edit/improve the whole thing right ahead on request and NOTE it doesn't show all driveable roads (in white). s21.postimg.org/yglfyiwyt/Underground_City_Map_Districts.pngs21.postimg.org/6pabqfgx1/Underground_City_Map_Temp.pngs21.postimg.org/n1oytwkmd/Underground_City_Map.pngs8.postimg.org/4qhr2qyqb/Underground_Map_Temp_Roads.pngRed - City; Downtown, Atlantica, Terminal Orange - Chinatown Yellow - Port Royal
