Hi guys. A total of 159 HP2 track-select screens appear in TSELECT.BIN in FrontEnd. I can't tell which are PS2 or PC, but some tracks such as the desert ones have PC-like textures. I should put this in the Classic Era Theories, but there's no Create Thread button for that.

Well it's unusual to see such a big amount of leftovers in another (future) game which runs on a much improved/different engine. There's already a number of traffic cars remaining in the game files and whatnot. It looks like (or so it does to me) BB just couldn't be bothered with doing some cleanup and remove the unnecessary content. But since we all know they loved recycling this isn't exactly something unexpected from BB :v .

there are tachos and old textures remain in there funny that is ug1 is the only game having locations of proper own global folder and other essetianls(gameplay) separated

Well, don't forget that first press info stated UG1 would be shipped in the beginning of 2004 and it was changed ca. E3, so cleaning chunks of placeholders was definitely the last thing Black Box guys were thinking about. Compare it with unnecessary files in MW2012 - of course development looked a bit different in both cases but still, both teams struggled to deliver the product on time.

I know that too, but if you want post all of them. I really hate to see about 6 of HP2 PS2 traffic cars in the final. I mean it was a good thing to not put the firetruck, bus and ambulance (would work well though). Does anyone know how to bring back traffic in the game.
