Some weird things I noticed
1. Is it just me or does cross just suddenly befriend the player? In MW and Carbon he doesn't seem to care about the player that much. Now he is helping him? (Repairing BMW with his money, Helping him escape jail)
2. About Nikki leaving the player before the prologue race. It doesn't seem to make sense. During the race, Nikki looks at the player like nothing happened and when he returns, she is the one mad because the played supposedly left her. During carbon the player doesn't seem to care about that at all. It's only until after when the player is mad about it. And wasn't there a prima guide or magazine about carbon that said the player left Nikki in the prologue because he 'deemed her too young'?

I'm beginning to notice the poor placement of Pro Street. They should have ditched that idea and gone with a continuation of the Mos Wanted-Carbon storyline!

Hm...the love triangle between the hero, mia and Nikki is sooo bad, specifically the reactions towards both girls what a cheap and awful story, aside the story is off the game's one, the hero could have get Nikki for a night before he leaves and then Mia was all into him and he acts like a virgin again and refuses her obvious signs.
I see why EA did some changes here and there...I dunno if it's just because of your summary which makes it sound like weird.

Alright, the book is gettin the story outta control.
Em...however, in the CE videos the bio of Nikki reveals she's in a relationship with the hero for x years (forgot the #) and they like break up when he leaves the city...also the flashback tell that they're were still close to each other that night and during the career Nikki slowly forgives the hero and the fact she's always around him and helping him as the first supporter, doesn't make it look like he would hate her...so EA definitely changed things, for good, the book just loses sense
Razor, Ronnie and Toru outta jail because of good behavior but had near 10 million bounty? And then apologize and make a crew...
# Yeah, cause after the guy which I took the car from with unfair tricks, who smashed the whole blacklist, took my #1 spot, won his car back and got me to jail the thing I wanna do is apologize and make friends with him and the undercover agent who screwed my life... #
Wait, wasn't Ming on the blacklist too?

Oh I believe you, it's just something I never expected...that's like just a reaction not a doubt on you, just a doubt on the book or actually on the author why he wrote it like he wrote it, everything's so weird like he just wanted to smash two games together, it sounds like some random nfs fan kid had this idea. It definitely had potential to be a good story but there are so many plot holes and things that make absolutely zero sense. Apparently the player is antisexual, everyone has drinking problems, Cross is bi-polar, and everything is mixed around timeline wise compared to both games lol.

The question is why would someone go to a bar to drink tea or water...it's like going to the gym and ask for lighter weights The weird thing is, after he wins races whatcha drink at the party? cups of tea?? ...the author should have involve alcohol or replace bar with café or diner...which would make sense... |

no alcohol because he actually drives cars lel Sure, but a few beer or a drink won't kill him and disable his driving abilities and he can take a taxi, ain't drivin 24/7...however as said with tea and water the bar should been replaced with café or diner... |

I call it a "booschitt". But lets continue the translation just to have "fanfic" here. I also suspected it for same reasons (really, tea n water?). However i find another thing retarded like dumping Nikki, Cross being super buddy to us (goes for a be... i mean water with us; pays trumendous amounts of money to fix probably stolen LeMans M3; Player is shown as maniacal faggot and a dick most people there, no mention of our crew mates).
I revert "saintanizing" of Lensky and keep our theories as they were (Rockport is to the east for sure not "just by LA")

maybe its caused by mistakes in my translation but i dont feel like the plot is 'different from the original' in any way, its a follow-up to the plot from the games... So wait, you're saying that this is supposed to ALL happen after the actual MW and Carbon stories? Everything is mixed around so badly between NFSB and the actual games it's not even funny. |
