I've seen that concept art before on a portfolio website, but it was credited for Most Wanted 2012. It featured the same BMW only with the Most Wanted 2 logo and a helicopter, along with a 2010-2011 Criterion Games logo underneath the concept art. Not the same as this.

I like ingenuity when I see it and this picture definitely takes the cake And to be frank, these concept arts looked like they're straight outta undercover, like its originally supposed to be a sequel to Undercover or something. Am I the only one who thought about that?

Drones are so widely used that it wouldn't matter. for anyone else who starts comparing betas to actual games from different developers, please think about it for a moment before posting.

it's posting time... in case you're wondering "why did you post it?" then here's your answer: Logging purposes. Most of these "Researches" are not documented and therefore the progress is slow because the researchers/modders don't share what they already have(see NFSU360). I want to avoid that.
in NFS13.exe you can pretty often see things like DBG or HSB I'd suggest Debug as DBG, for HSB I have no idea.
the integrated "bindings" system looks like this:
item item2 item3 ....... .tid1 .tid2 .tid3
it's a fucking hassle to get it right when you have 100+ of them but it's survivable.
example from the file:(starts at offset B8E64B)

I'm probably going to spend some testing with it, nice change from the audio files, ealayer3 encoding is pretty shit, it creates a wrong header (some Y... shit instead of H...) and then it leaves all the lossy crap from the MP3 into the file. This causes the game to crash since the file contains things that shouldn't be there. TL;DR custom music is not coming that soon.

dumping some pictures I took previously today, they show some pretty cool stuff. Dev info HUD overlay, it was used by the sound designer. Pay attention to the RPM gauge on the right and the system info on the top right. There's also a build number(unreadable) and framerate related things. Probably one of the most important ones, an actual image of MW2012's Debug menu. The image tells a thousand words. debug camera, something you all should be pretty familiar with. Fairhaven map, as you can see the extended parts from E3(i92 east) are missing, the junctions however are still referring to the fact that they were planned. All of the undriveable roads are detailed, something you don't notice on the final map. There are also some minor road differences. For some reason Junction 12 is present, it wasn't actually placed there before the Airport DLC a bit less blurry version from an angle. a screenshot from the late game. As you may notice, the game says it has 41 cars that means that Hummer H1 probably wasn't part of the game anymore. All of the above images were from this video: that's one real cool loading screen. Fits together with the images I've extracted before... early "press any key" screen, it was just blank white. Fairhaven map WIP aka "who forgot the barrier?" E3 map, we've seen this one before but it still looks cool. I'll probably get in depth with the details some other day. some guy actually decided to be a madman and record the whole demo. Criterion Games developers getting their revenge after having to cut off ~75% of MW2012 BONUS: NFS Carbon Arcade machine at Visceral Games. there's also a vid that talks specifically about the E3 version, post coming someday.

Up in the north of the map there is a freeway going somewhere. I remember from some vid form the e3 gameplay there was a roadsign saying "Golden Meadows", idk where the sign lead. With the bullshit SUV class being left with 2 cars (why did they even bother) I would say Golden Meadows was a rather off-road area since there were supposed to be more SUVs in the game (Hummer H3, H1 Alpha and probably some SRT Jeep too. They were in some trailer on a hill or something. You might say it relates to the mobile version, but the models were clearly high quality and there are no hills like that in the mobile game).

I didnt have time today. Ill find the sign and the other stuff tomorrow (idk tho, it was like a few years, memory fails somet imes, ill try my best). You can see the freeway on the pic some posts above. Actually now that im thinking, the name golden meadows suggests either an offroady area or just a high end villa neighbourhood, which would be rather boring. If thats the point no wonder they would have removed it.
Other thing is that the sign was showing the way to the park, soooo maybe they just renamed it.
Thats my theory so far. Ill need a pc to search the web for stuff easier so ill try to do stuff tomorrow.
