Hey guys. I've been reading this thread trying to find more information about MW12, when I found the SPEECHEVENTSEQUENCES that hrjohn uploaded. (john you're a legend for keeping these files up for 7 years, kudos) I thought it'd be nice to have a "pointer" to those files since it would be quite hard for someone to find a specific sound for a specific situation. So I made a .TXT that lists the 7000+ audio files. Not quote by quote, but in a generalized way (Example: 1003-1060: Suspect catching air). Mind you, there are some files missing since the .SWC0 file actually has 7674 (there's about 300 files missing, but 7300 is still a lot!). So for those who downloaded SPEECHEVENTSEQUENCES.zip from here, 👇 Here's a Pastebin that "categorizes" the OGG files. pastebin.com/U34RhUHrIt's quite interesting to see that EA had car call-outs (y'know, the "In pursuit of a red Caterham") for cars that were cut (Stingray, Cherokee, Hummer) and also call-outs for the Slim Jim Charger and the Focus ST. I also named the 125 files from WAVES.zip (from hrjohn's link) with what they are (Example: "WAVES - Exhaust Pop 10.mp3"). So if anyone needs that, just quote me and I'll provide! Thanks guys

Well there is this unique Corvette ZR1 police car that nobody is talkin about... I think this guy was supposed to be our main bady in MW2012 (just like Cross in MW05) but honestly it could be anything...it could be an early version of heat 5 police cars...idk...

I think it was carried over from HP2010, not very sure tho.

Also roughly a month ago I showed the car to a friend of mine who was interested about the car and she said that this car is using the beta Police car license plate of NFS Rivals! And she was absolutely right! here are the pictures. Beta MW2012 ZR1 license plate Beta Rivals Police license plate

Interesting. I still speculate that the pursuit music made for MW2 was cut and then reused in rivals... It'd make more sense then, when you think about this.
And the hud layout was reused from MW2 early builds to Rivals.

I am posting these for archival purposes.
There were a few videos on NFS MW2 that were floating around recently. I am uploading them on my YT channel and linking them here.
Thanks to DanZeeManz for the Autolog one.

Yup, it was indeed carried over from HP2010, with a "Massachusetts" livery replacing the HP2010 one (the reason why is because the map is based on Boston/Massachusetts, and I think they were toying around with inspiration from the real world). Pretty cool thing though

Yeah, Rival is like a "successor" to MW2 when you think about it; most of the stuff scrapped from MW12, especially weapons, are there in Rivals. There might've been changes, but theoretically speaking, it's core is the same.

if the core is the same, then the driving physics should be the one main similarity - does rivals have most wanted 2's physics?

Essentially, they have reused the HUD, the concept of weapons, etc. It wouldnt be a big thing to bring over the physics systems too, again, i cant be too sure. May not be related, but you might wanna check these out:

Still waiting for an in depth comparison video of the beta and final version. I doubt that anyone would make one now, since there is a video by GrandTheftAero on it It isnt a comparison, it just shows what was added and removed before the final game.
