As i think Cross was supposed on heat level 1 or heat level 2 on demo. I have an ? is it possible to find cars in heat level 1 and 2 Don't think so... as I said before, having Cross in the demo would reveal too much about the actual game. He appears in an in-game scene at the end of the demo sliding around the turn where the Intro video begins. I think he says sth too |

Maybe he means, he will meet player again Exaclty, the chase isn't over...like this one failure will not stop him (or give up) to hunt racers until he got them/him. |

So, I was messing around with PS2 Demo again... First I'll start with this (I guess that the description is new):  Found new cut tracks that I didn't even knew that existed 20.6.1 = opm_multipoint_test [?] - I could play it through Quick Play mode (there the game mode is "Unknown")      I'll upload a video today or tomorrow showing the race. but something that I would like to leave here: Seems that Multipoints had two different type of game modes, checkpoint race and cashgrab  That would explain why we have two Multipoint options in PS2 Demo quick race menu. The one that I played seems to be more a cashgrab version. The red pickup would give +$100 The pink pickup would give +$500 The grey pickup would give +$1000 I was free to move around this area:  The win condition, as you may have already thought, would be get more cash before you run out of time. Checkpoints either doesn't exist in this race or are invisible. However, there is something bugging me: If I was free to move around and get as much cash as possible, why we have multipoint races that looks like a sprint and circuit races (according to tracks textures in final game)? Just like the opm_multipoint_test, we also have this:   The timer goes down just like the opm_multipoint_test |

379Felipe# why we have multipoint races that looks like a sprint and circuit races (according to tracks textures in final game)? # Because the sprint one's were (would be) regular checkpoint races like in Carbon (or Tollbooth races as its more or less the same, probably the reason why they cut multiple point, maybe it was a very early version before they introduced the tollbooths) Interesting, Cash Grab would been a online mode I guess like Pursuit Tag or Cops and Robbers.

But seriously though, I already found some patch that can change the language of the demo to German, there's no Russian patch...sorry. So its possible to replace the english with russian in the demo, I guess... |

So, here is the video: eh.what is that red circle? CheckpointVisible is set to true. To be short, It is a checkpoint that every race has, and if you skip one, you can't finish the race. They can be enabled in final game, however, there is no icon texture for them. |
