Huh, my theory is that all the shit we've been finding about MW being developed as far back as before UG2 is that MW was supposed to be a game released after UG1, but before UG2. Seems to fit for me. Also, about NFS 2015 night time graphics, at least it doesn't have Carbon's fucking shitty blue filter.

You can remove the blue filter by changing ''Visual Treatment'' setting to the low.

Only problem is that the filter also adds bloom, which does make the game look sexier imo.

Not sure, if I could call it big news. Probably not, but... During March 2003, the UG2 was already far in the development. Still, at this time EA decided to register domain " www.needforspeedmostwanted.com". That means the name leaked already before UG2 was announced. Unsurprisingly, people thought the next game will be Most Wanted. But a month later, the production assistant from EA / Black Box confirmed the next NFS will be a successor to UG and came up with pretty detailed description of some features. I translated it from Here and Here, just in case you will want the source. Next thing is the first picture of MW that went officialy public. It was a concept art featured in an article talking about EA's games for next gen consoles. The original link is down, but the pic survived. The speculations around talked about incoming NFS Porsche 2 or, again, MW.  |

Hold on, if every NFS game takes 3 years to make then how does a new one come out every year? Black Box had a shitton of staff,so there would be one team developing an nfs game and another developing the next nfs game that would come after that. |

It explains why rog is BL 16 and why he drives a GTO in game. This is of course just a theory. Sorry for going back SO MUCH in the thread, but for some reason I felt the need to point something which might have actually been obvious to some but whatever: The whole idea that Rog helps the player because Razor possibly cheated against him doesn't make sense in the final game for a very simple reason: Remember the ,,That Rog guy,, SMS Razor sends to the player? He clearly stated that he's ,,just asking/wondering, you know... why he's doing it,, . The theory isn't supported by this because he would've said something different if that was the case. Now of course in some of the trailers Rog says something similar to ,,...more than just smuggling a car,,. Perhaps it was intended at first to go just like that theory says, but it was later dropped in exchange for a more mysterious/shadowy character. |
