By any chance the Most Wanted had "Undercover" cops literally in a different context ?
Like a racer who turns out to be a cop ?
Certainly not a reference to Cross. Or maybe it is indeed a reference to Cross the "bounty hunter" rather than "Sergeant".

all of the files were cracked open almost 2 years ago now(maybe more?).
most of them are cross platform. the only ones that aren't are models / textures
